MAGIC FOR HUMANS

If you’re not obsessed with Magic for Humans on Netflix, then you’re not human. Justin Willman does an incredible job of combining Magic and Comedy in this three season series. His tricks are amazing, and his audience wonderfully diverse. If you want a fun night of Magic you must check it out. Here are a few shots of myself with Justin and his wife Jill, who is supporting him behind the curtain through it all.

My First Grown-Up Show!

I have been performing at The Magic Castle from time to time (at the small tables, not the big theatres).  And now I have been asked to perform my first ever Grown-Up Magic Show.  In an effort to raise money for the West Hollywood Food Coalition, a group of Comedians have gotten together to create a night of fundraising.  They decided they wanted Magic too!  I will be performing with Eden Dranger (Twitter.com/Eden_Eats) who is an amazingly hilarious comedian.  Check out my upcoming shows for more details!

Meeting Dorothy Dietrich; The First Lady of Magic

You can read all about Dorothy Dietrich here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorothy_Dietrich)

But all you really need to know is that someone shot a bullet into her face and she caught it in her mouth.  She is the only woman to successfully accomplish this, and 12 people have died trying.  I had dinner with her and a bunch of Woman in Magic.  She was such a fascinating woman.  She told us all about her violent childhood and her harrowing escape. And how Magic was what saved her all those years ago.  Today she continues to wow people with her allusions and escape acts.  She was such a lovely woman and I was so lucky to be able to meet her!

My First Children's Birthday Party!

It was a successful show at Tuck's 4th Birthday!  The kids were mesmerized by all the Magic I did.  And many of the Adults were intrigued as well.  Kids were eager to volunteer to help with tricks.  For my grand finale I made candy appear and threw it into the audience.  It was a big hit with the kids!  Tuck's mom has hired me to come back and do Magic at his sister's 7th birthday party in May.
